Did you know that the State of Oregon

has an unofficial National Outbreak Museum? It's basically an office filled with food products that have been recalled at one time or another. We visited today and met the museum's "curator." See what he has to say about food safety on KATU at 5p and 6p.

Here's a bigger and better picture of truck op Steve

Don't bug him, he's busy.

No singer today

They sent us the mini Sat for our live shots at 5 and 6. If you look
closely, you can see the shoes of Steve our truck op.

More from the scene

The owner of the dog that was shot and killed explained to us what
happened. She showed us where they buried the dog in the front yard.
Very sad.

Pit bull home

We just talked to a neighbor that says he was cornered by a vicious
dog that lives here.

Here's the new stinger

If you are even slightly excited about this you have too much time on
your hands.

We just met with a woman named Wanda

who explained how state government cuts could make living on her own almost impossible. The story is going to air during our 5pm newscast on KATU.
