Weekend catch

I pulled this trout out of a pond at Shevlin Park in Tumalo while teaching my kids to use a fly rod. Don't worry this little guy was quickly returned to the icy water.

The well guarded cleanup continues in downtown Portland. I'm in court for Scott Matta. He is accused of throwing a firework at a police officer early Sunday morning during the occupy eviction.

Inmates work to build shelter for rescued horses

Here is a feel good story I did on Friday. I was lucky to get an articulate inmate to center the story around. Hopefully work programs like this will help give hope to inmates and maybe turn some lives around
